This program includes a Parent Engagement Session that teaches strategies parents and educators can use to motivate and encourage children to develop leadership traits and a growth mindset. Participants learn to identify a child’s behavior style, which improves communication, empowers children to work in their strengths and become leaders in their own lives.

Times have changed in ways that no one expected. Everyone has experienced loss and frustration. Anxiety is at an all-time high. How do you maintain calm in such an uncertain world? How do you parent children who don’t understand the changes? Join us for Calming Strategies for Leading during Uncertain Times.
DISCover Your Personality Style:
Learn about temperament types and communication tips that encourage kids to tap into strengths, create a growth mindset and a positive environment. Discover your own style and how to parent children of different temperaments.
Mission Possible:
Craft the five statements that will guide and inspire your family to work and play together cooperatively. Identify the key virtues or characteristics and actions that will create focus and success in the upcoming year.
Resilience: Resilience is the ability to recover from difficulties and children more than ever, need to develop resilience in today’s world. This session will cover the seven-character traits that develop resilience and how you can best nurture it.
Grief and Loss: Grief is a deep sadness following a death or a loss. How can you as parents best support a child through this difficult and challenging time? This session will cover how children grieve differently than adults and the basic tasks of mourning.
Parenting for the Future: You have a short time frame to prepare kids for a challenging and ever-changing future. How do you parent so kids are self-confident, motivated, and ready for the real world? Learn how to parent using healthy strategies without resorting to threats, nagging or exhausting power struggles.
From Parent/Protector to Friend/Advisor
Children aren’t the only ones who go through stages. Parents also have their own stages to navigate as they move from parent/protector to friend/advisor. Each stage has challenges and opportunities. Learn the important characteristics necessary for parents to model as you nurture and encourage children to become young adults of character and resilience.
